Mr. TOWONGO EMMANUEL MAWA

The Founder & Chairman,

 

Towongo Emmanuel has more than 11 years’ work experience with different humanitarian aid & Development organizations assisting non-profit organizations to become more professional in the financial management of their operations. He is currently serving as Senior Finance & Administration Officer with Peace Village Kuron a Faith Based Organization since 2021 to present.

 

 He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Finance and Management from Bugema University (Uganda), Ongoing CPA Studies from Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda (ICPAU) & Masters in Public Administration from Uganda Management Institute (UMI) Prior to Peace Village Kuron, Mr. Towongo worked as Consultant at Crystal & Co. Certified Accountants.  He is the Chair and Co-Founder of African Children’s Foundation Organization on such matters of strategic planning and Governance, financial management and organizational development.

MS. ALIMA JANE LOKI

The Deputy Chairperson  & Co-Founder of ACFO,

 

Ms. Alima works as gender Advocacy Officer at Center for Peace and Advocacy (CPA) in Juba South Sudan. Her role to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment through advocacy, communication, and research. She also support policy development, capacity building, and program implementation

 

She Holds Bachelor’s degree in public Administration and Management at Kampala University, Kampala, Uganda.

BETTY ASHA MOSES ADULLYI

Secretary General

 

Betty Asha is South Sudanese, base in the United State of America. She Holds Bachelor of Arts in International Business & Political Science in Maryville College & is a Co-founder of A.S.H.A.C.F Children’s Foundation in the United states of America.

 

 During Betty’s time at Maryville College, she worked as a Legislative Intern with Tennessee General Assembly in Nashville, TN, Executive Intern with the Office of Tennessee Governor in Nashville, TN, and currenting working as a Marketing and Legal Department Intern with DeRoyal Corporation in Powell, TN.

 

She is the secretary general of African Children’s Foundation Organization in South Sudan to overseeing Governance issues and participating in the organizational Development, Planning, and Fundraising Programs.

Madam. Tabu Winny Nyetete

Deputy Secretary General

 

Tabu Winny is a Deputy Secretary General  & Co-Founder of African Children Foundation. She started her career in 2019 as Intern – programme & Administration Assistant before the position is transition to Programme Assistant to present at Nonviolent Peace force organization in South Sudan. She holds B.A in Economics from Kyambogo University – Uganda.

Mr. MAMER ABRAHAM KUOT

Secretary for Information & Communication

 

Mr. Mamer Abraham Kuot is South Sudanese journalist, novelist and poet. He has work experiences for sixteen (16) years from different media houses including Refugee Research Network (RRN), Juba Monitor, The City Review Newspaper, Kakuma News Reflector (KANERE), Real Woman Magazine, South Sudan International et’ cetera since 2007 to present. He currently the Secretary General and the Chief Editor for International African Writers’ Association (IAWA). In addition, he works as a freelance journalist and an editor for various media houses in South Sudan and abroad.

 

He holds a diploma in journalism and mass communication, currently pursuing B.A of Journalism and Mass Communication from Chandigarh University in India.

MR. MAWICH KUOL NYANG

Deputy Secretary for Finance

 

Mr. Mawich Kuol is a Business Executive of MM Enterprise Ltd. He has work experience for over Seven (7)-years in the areas of financial management and humanitarian operations started with International Youth for Africa (IYA- Uganda), Initiative Development Empowerment Aid-Africa (IDEA-Africa), Save Children International (SCI- South Sudan) and currently serving as Finance and Administration Officer, Child Right Coalition (CRC-South Sudan).

 

He holds Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Bugema University, MBA from University of Juba and Pursing Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Kenya from KASNEB Center. He Serves as Deputy Secretary for Finance & Co-Founder of African Children’s Foundation Organization.

 

Mr. LEVI JONATHAN MANZA

The Secretary for Resource Mobilization

 

Levi Manza, the Co-founder and secretary for resource mobilization focused and coordinated work with program teams to identify and follow up on linkages between donor strategies and member interests, identifying funding opportunities and matching them to program needs and facilitating smooth communication between all stakeholders of ACFO.

 

Levi Holds B. A in Social Work and Social Administration from Nkumba University, Kampala Uganda.  He has several Trainings in Administration management, Project Planning and Management, Training in emergency preparedness and response, Training of Trainees (TOT) in Nonviolence and conflict transformation, Training in Advocacy, Monitoring, Evaluation, Investigation and reporting on human/children Rights.

 

Mr. Levi Has served in different discipline in programs and administration roles in East Africa and Germany between 2018 to 2024; worked with Stromme Foundation as Data Clerk in Juba June-Dec 2024. Worked with Windle Trust International as Logistics and Administrative officer June 2023-March 2024. Worked with Act for Transformation as project coordinator in Rhino Refugee Camp in Uganda and Germany Oct 2019- Aug 2022. He also worked with Narrative Hub as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer; an integrated and emergence response to GBV to conflict affected population-Project funded by International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Jonglei State Sept 2022-Apr 2023. He started working with Organization for Nonviolence and Development (ONAD) as project Assistant in Juba June 2018-Sept 2019.

AYISHA CATHERINE NGONGA

Secretary for Gender, Child & Social Welfare

 

Catherine Joined ACFO, the Co-founder who will overseeing gender equality, social justice, and safe guard the rights and welfare of women, children, persons with disability and other vulnerable groups. She Holds B. A in Social Work and Social Administration from Nkumba University, Kampala Uganda. Ms. Catherine Currently is working in Department of community driven rural development, GIZ South Sudan since year 2022.
